New Ocean Tour Will Cruise Vietnam Coastline January 19, 2006 - Linknet Places in the NewsThe government of Vietnam has authorised Saigontourist to work with US firms to organise a new sea tour. The tour will use a 2,500-tonne cruise ship with a capacity of more than 100 tourists. Saigon Tourism Corporation will work with two seagoing vessel firms from the U.S. to operate this tour. The ship will sail between Ho Chi Minh City in the south to Haiphong Port in Haiphong City in the north and vice versa. This is a very new tour in Vietnam, targeted at international tourists who fly to Vietnam. This would allow them to embark on the ship and travel along the Vietnamese coastline, taking in the sites. It is expected the service will begin serving tourists in mid-2006.
