July 12, 2006 - Linknet Business News Rochester Institute of Technology Gets Major Gift AP reports that E. Philip Saunders, a chairman of Genesee Regional Bank and leader in the truck-stop industry, recently gave $ 13 million to Rochester Institute of Technology's College of Business.Saunders hopes the money will encourage the development of local business in the Rochester area. Part of the money will go towards two $ 20,000/year scholarships, and the rest to renovation of the main building. In 2005 RIT's College of Business had 849 undergraduates and 379 graduate students.
