Halloween Can Be Sexy
Adults and children alike have always treated Halloween as one of their most favorite holidays of all time. But over the last decade, the level of participation by adults has grown tremendously. And there's a good reason why. It goes far more beyond that of helping kids choose and put on their costumes and giving out candies to trick-or-treaters. It's the one night of the year that grown-ups can dress up as any fantasy they want, without fear of having their personal characters demeaned.
More and more adults are dressing up in their favorite costumes, even when staying inside their homes and handing out treats at the door. Many are even going trick or treating themselves and having a lot of fun out on the streets. At work, it's becoming more and more popular for companies to hold Halloween parties. Employees are also allowed or even encouraged by the management to wear costumes at work, as part of celebrating and enjoying the Halloween spirit. Night clubs hold costume contests during this occasion. A lot of pretty good prizes are being given away for those who are judged to be wearing the best costumes.
But most of all, it has also become a social event for donning their costumes and heading to Halloween parties, and generally have fun. Whether at someone's home, local night clubs or the office, everybody loves celebrating Halloween. For reasons that need not be explained, the most popular years are when Halloween falls on a Friday or Saturday.
Halloween may be traditionally a time for ghouls, goblins, ghosts, and monsters to come out into the night, but it has also become a sexy and naughty holiday for adults. Costumes portraying enchanting Witches and seductive Vampires are always a great choice, and let us not forget the Mistress of the Dark herself, Elvira. It's also a perfect time for couples to dress up together as anything they want to be. There are countless possibilities for creative and imaginative couples to enjoy this holiday.
And why not? After all, Halloween has developed a reputation for being the one time of the year when anything goes, and where people can dress up and live out their fantasies, secret or otherwise. The social freedom of Halloween gives people who are normally stressed out and/or emotionally restrained a chance to "let loose", get spooky, scary, naughty and even sexy without being judged. It is simply understood that theirs is an assumed character or persona for just one night of celebration.
Every year that passes sees more and more grown-ups dressing up in costumes for a night of fun and celebration during Halloween. A recent survey states that more than 75% of adults who usually participate in Halloween festivities plan on wearing a costume as part of their Halloween celebration.
