Making Your Home Business Investment Count

by JENNIFER THOMAS

Everyone would like to make a little extra money or even become a full-time business owner. But the reality is most of us don’t take the time to make your initial investment count. An internet business is a great way to supplement your income if you do it right.

Some internet businesses are easier and quicker to get results, but they all take time and effort and anyone that tells you something different is lying to you and themselves. There are so many ways to work from home and generate income from the Internet.

You wont find a product that’ll make you rich instantly over night, so don’t spend a lot of your time looking for one. If you’re new in the Internet Marketing arena, start with a program that requires very little technical experience. You’ll have far less problems, especially if your not computer smart.

With a lot of online businesses, there will be some type of upfront investment or cost. Some oppurtunities may require more money than others. Either way, you must be able to put in the consistent effort and sacrifice that it will take to make any program work. My advice is to find a program that has a step by step system that YOU can understand and follow. If you don’t understand what it is saying, don’t do it.

Always do your research and make a decision based on what you want to accomplish. Before beginning any business your investment strategy should be calculated and thought out. A sure way to not throw away your investment is, not to make the mistake of paying to join a program on a whim. .

Starting most internet business will involve a learning curve. You need to plan out every penny that you invest in your business and make sure that the business you choose has a compensation plan that will allow you to make a return on your investment (ROI).With that being said you must also remember that with any investment there is the risk that you might incur a loss. But never let the risk scare you away. Just make sure the risk is calculated.

It doesn’t matter what the nature of your work, if you prefer to work from home, there are more than enough legitimate opportunities available to help you accomplish your goals. We all have our own reasons for wanting to build an online business.

It might be to supplement your current income, to gain your freedom by working at home, or it may just be a challenge to you. Whatever your reason might be, always make sure you make your time and investment in that venture COUNT!

In summary: Make sure the business has a SIMPLE SYSTEM you can CONSISTENTLY follow,PLAN your investment and thoroughly RESEARCH your potential business. Ensure you UNDERSTAND the entire business and make sure the compensation plan provides a REALISTIC possibility of a positive ROI.

Now get out there and TAKE your success! It’s that simple.

Do You Have Enough Belief To Succeed In Melaleuca?

by Diane Voisley

“You just don’t want it bad enough.” You may have sat in seminars or meetings where your Melaleuca upline is telling you that the sole reason you aren’t a success is because you simply don’t want it bad enough. Your upline would have you and thousands of other Melaleuca distributors believe that when you get sick and tired of being sick and tired is when you’re really going to get your Melaleuca.com business on a roll! This is simply untrue!

If you’re like many Melaleuca distributors, you’re listening to your Melaleuca upline telling you to stay “plugged in” to the system - buy every motivational and teaching CD you can get your hands on, attend every training seminar possible and basically spend money you don’t have on products that will supposedly get you “psyched” beyond belief! In fact you’re led to believe that if you’re not plugged into the system, there’s no way that you’re going to make it as a distributor and what you don’t spend in money, you’ll spend in time. Because you’re plugged into the system, you’ll be so “fired up” that your business will grow virtually automatically.

Trash the thoughts that tell you that the reason you’re not a Melaleuca success is because you’re not motivated enough! Motivation can do a lot for a person, but again, it’s not everything. Those annual rallies are truly motivational, but how many distributors do you suppose went on to become Corporate Directors or more? Here’s the deal. Motivation and belief aren’t the missing ingredients to your success. In fact, if you’ve been working your Melaleuca business for at least six months to a year, then motivation is definitely not the problem.

People look for answers when they don’t get the results they expect. If you had a question about why you weren’t succeeding who would you ask? You would ask your upline and guess what? Your upline is probably in the same situation as you experiencing the same thing as you because they were taught the same thing as you. The reason MLM companies resort to the motivational is that it’s the perfect scapegoat. Think about it. No one can ever be motivated enough and it’s the timeless answer passed down generation through generation in the MLM.

You can use a shovel to dig the foundation of a house, or you can learn to use a bulldozer. Network marketing isn’t as hard as people make it out to be. The real problem is that they are given improper and virtually useless tools that don’t bring in the results. What Melaleuca distributors need to do is learn how to build their business correctly. They need to learn how to use the bulldozer!

Do you understand what I’m trying to get at? The more inefficient your system/tools are and the more ineffective your approach is, the harder you’re going to have to work to get results. And because of that, you have to make up for it big time with motivation. When you’re using the right tools for the job, you’re seeing steady, consistent progress and things are trucking along smoothly, motivation becomes almost an afterthought.

If people were interested in seeking your help and guidance for building their Melaleuca business, would you have a problem getting motivated to talk to them? If you had qualified leads - people who were asking you about your products, would you have a problem with motivation? You probably wouldn’t.

But motivation becomes a major issue when you have to force yourself to pick up that 10,000 lb. phone to call one of your friends from work who you know doesn’t give a rip about your business! That’s when you need to whip out your handy-dandy Melaleuca goal statement and remind yourself exactly why it is you’re annoying the heck out of people.

I finally did reach that “magical” turning point in my business where all of a sudden everything started working. I stopped worrying about belief and started concerning myself with the real nuts and bolts of how to market a business. Which is this: Find the people who’re looking for what you have, use an effective marketing system to automatically sell to the products for you, and then spend your time working with the most qualified ones. In a nutshell, this is what needs to be done in order to be successful with Melaleuca and network marketing in general.

Are Normal People Able To Work From Home?

by James M. Crosswell

Perform your due diligence. Nothing pays more dividends to someone trying to start up a work at home business, than doing due diligence on the opportunity your are thinking about joining or the work you are thinking about doing form home.

* What reasons make you want to find a way to work at home?

* Could it be because you are not working where you want to work right now?

* Knowing what you know now would you take the same path you have taken?

Set Objectives. Make sure you know what building your ladder is leaning on, so when you get to the top you don’t find out you’ve been climbing up the wrong ladder.

* What is it you are doing this for?

* What makes it worth it to you?

What corresponds to you? Finding an opportunity that corresponds to you is important. You want to do things or work on things that are in alignment with you. You wont put much effort into something you don’t believe in.

* Would working from home suit you?

* Are you a people person that just has to be in the presence of others in a work environment?

* Do you need constant supervision in order to get things done?

Get going! In order for you to derive any benefit of owning your own home based business you have to get going. You can analyze everything for weeks. At this point “Analyzing is Paralyzing!” Don’t get me wrong, do your homework. But you also have to get going.

Find out what is bringing in the money for you and what is costing you money. As simple as it sounds, some just don’t get it. You want to spend more time and effort in what is bringing in the most money and less time and effort on things that are costing you money.

Zero in on what is bringing in the most success for you. This is where you want to spend your time and effort. Develop it. Don’t waste time trying to bring losers into the winners column. Just run with the winners. Why waste time and effort trying to convert a losing strategy into a winning one. Zero in on the strategy that is working the best for you.

Never quit on yourself! This is the most important aspect. Never quit on yourself. Don’t quit on your family, don’t quit on your customers, and most importantly don’t quit on yourself!
